If you love art and culture, and are curious to discover artists from all over the world, Parcours des mondes is for you! Every year, the Saint-Germain-des-Près district is transformed into a giant museum, thanks to the International Exhibition of Art from Africa, Oceania, the Americas, Asia and Archaeology. This event returns to Paris, from September 10 to 15, 2024, for its 23rd edition.
Parcours des mondes brings together over sixty art galleries from all over the world, to showcase the arts of Africa, Oceania, Asia and the Americas. In this gigantic art fair, collectors, experts and art lovers come together to enjoy exhibitions and presentations of works and artists. The fair is entirely free and open to all, so it's the perfect way to extend your summer trip, even after the summer holidays are over!
Contemporary or traditional art, demonstrations of ancestral know-how: the exhibitions presented during the Parcours des mondes showcase cultures from as far away from Europe as possible. The event takes place in art galleries in the Saint-Germain-des-Près district, and more specifically " along the rue Mazarine, rue Guénégaud, rue Jacques Callot, rue de Seine, rue de l'Echaudé, rue Jacob, rue Visconti and rue des Beaux-Arts, in resident and tenant galleries".
For this 2024 edition, the Parcours des mondes has as its honorary president Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, founder of the Fimalac company and the Culture & Diversité Foundation, and Grand Patron of the Louvre Museum.
Don't miss this beautiful cultural stroll through the Latin Quarter, to be enjoyed in September in Paris.
