Les Royal Pickles
If people are more and more interested in Swing music over the years thanks to the rebirth of the traditional jazz culture and the rise of swing dances in schools and in the streets, Les Royal Pickles certainly answered the call. Ubiquitous in social dance nights and the most renown championships, they stand out with their loyalty to Hot Jazz of the first half of the 20^th century and with the quality of their original arrangements, while remaining faithful to Swing aesthetic. Since April 2018, the band presents “Jouer dans l’Trafic“, a show that sails halfway between depth and lightness through a picture poetry. Following an immersive urban sound common theme, the band combines songs with lyrics and instrumental versions, bringing a festive touch that comes to comment and thwart the gloominess of the metropoles.

Free event and open to all, organized by the Délégation Générale du Québec in Paris in partnership with Air Transat, the Fédération France-Québec / Francophonie and the Mairie de Paris.
