Poutine, a Quebec specialty par excellence, can now be discovered in Paris. Let's go to the Maison de la Poutine on the Montorgueuil side, the first spot dedicated to this specialty that is sure to delight lovers of French fries and cheddar cheese!

A restaurant that puts Poutine in the spotlight? Here's something to make you salivate in advance. This new spot opens its doors this Thursday, November 30, 2017. You'll have to head to rue Mandar in the Montorgueuil district to taste this specialty.

At the helm, chef Erwan Caradec, Florent Steiner & Guillaume Natas, 3 great poutine lovers who decided to make you discover (and why not, make you addicted) this traditional Quebec dish. They bet on good and high quality products and an exotic setting to win your approval.

The decoration takes us to Quebec. You are free to take your drugs to go or to settle down on the spot in this cosy setting with 20 seats. The wooded atmosphere and dinner-style banquettes are waiting for you.

What is Poutine you may ask? It's a dish of delicious fried French fries, topped with "cheese curds" and covered with a brown sauce with a secret recipe. In short, a real "comfort food" specialty, ideal to overcome the winter that is coming.

But the recipe doesn't stop there. Indeed, the restaurant offers variations. Pork effiloché, beef cheek or vegetarian, there is something for everyone! New sauces and toppings are on the program with seasonal products, all year long.

Well, home fries in sauce, that's a given, but what do you eat it with? Organic beer with maple syrup (specially brewed for the restaurant in a brewery in Paris), delicious donuts from Boneshaker Doghnuts (donuts with maple syrup or bacon/maple syrup . .. ) but also creamy cheesecake verrines or pieces of fresh fruit deliciously drizzled with maple syrup, to finish on a sweet note.
