A night dedicated to science andastronomy... That's what theCassiopeia 95 association is proposing for this new edition of Nuits des Étoiles 2023, to be held in Paris, the Île-de-France region and the rest of France in August. On the nights of August 11 and 12, 2023, we'll be at the Hérouville-en-Vexin stadium in the Val-d'Oise region, for a unique experience with your head in the stars.
A unique night where you'll be able to admire the stars through a telescope, astronomical telescopes and binoculars, in the company of the Cassiopeia 95 association, which plans to introduce you to the basics of astronomy and stargazing. This year, we'll be paying particular attention to Saturn and Jupiter, who are set to put on a spectacular show during this unique evening.
Other highlights include the bluish Lyra Nebula, the Hercules Cluster and the Whirlpool Galaxy! Learn to spot the constellations of the summer sky and discover the famous "summer triangle", ideal for observing the Perseids throughout August.
And don't forget that there's no public transport to the Hérouville-en-Vexin municipal site in the middle of the night, so you'll need a car!
It's an opportunity to spend a unique moment and learn all about the universe and its secrets...
