Fête de l'animal en ville: free events on animal welfare in the 12th arrondissement

It's the perfect way for children and adults alike to learn about the well-being of animals in the urban environment: the Fête de l'animal en ville! On October 4, 2025, from 2:30pm to 5pm, the Maison de l'animal, in the Parc de Bercy, welcomes the general public to meet animals and the city's environmental advisors, and to discover the different species that live among us .

The event, which is free of charge, offers a series of meetings and exchanges with some twenty associations and professionals working on behalf of animals, to discover their activities and attend demonstrations. The City of Paris honors the animals that share the daily lives of Parisians, whether domestic, farmed or wild.

You'll be able to learn about good pet ownership practices, human rights and duties towards animals, abandonment, animal abuse and trafficking, caring for injured wild animals and animal mediation, as well as enjoy afternoon activities such as a donation drive for the Gamelles Pleines association, demonstrations with guide dogs, a photo studio and entertainment for children.

• 3:30 pm: Agility demonstration - Meet at the demonstration area
• 4:00 pm: Animal first-aid workshop by the Protection Civile de Paris - Meet at the association's stand
• 4:30 pm: Dog dancing demonstration - RDV on the demonstration area
