After the "14e des Fiertés" in 2021, the festival of LGBTQIA+ cultures and identities extends to two other arrondissements, from November 9 to 26, 2023. The aim of this new edition is to raise public awareness of the fight against discrimination and highlight the culture and diversity of the identities concerned.

The Festival des Fiertés is an offshoot of the"14e des Fiertés", initiated for the first time in 2021. Once again this year, the 12th and 13th arrondissements join the 14th to celebrate the diversity of LGBTQIA+ identitiesthrough culture. The festival runs from November 9 to 26, 2023, and will feature a varied and largely free program, thanks to the participation of some 50 cultural players and associations. The aim is to raise public awareness of the fight against discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people and highlight the history and culture of the movement.

With the Olympic Games just a few months away, sports clubs and associations will be offering collective practice sessions during the festival, as well as times for reflection oninclusion in the sporting world, notably during the launch evening at Cinéma Pathé les Fauvettes on November 10, 2023. Badminton, running, handball- these are just some of the sports covered during festive evenings in Parisian gyms.

In the public arena, an "hors-les-murs" art trail will showcase the projects and work of some twenty artists involved, on building facades and windows across the three arrondissements. For all audiences, the festival offers screenings, performances, exhibitions, shows, plays, concerts and literary and other encounters, the program for which is available on the City of Paris website. An event not to be missed!
