Launched in 2003 by the French Ministry of Culture, Rendez-vous aux Jardins is an annual event that enables garden-seekers to (re)discover thousands of gardens across France, mostly free of charge. This year, Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2024 takes place from May 31 to June 2, 2024, so get your diaries ready!
The aim of this bucolic, fun-filled event is to introduce young and old alike to the diversity of gardens, and to highlight the importance of protecting, conserving, maintaining, restoring and creating gardens, which have been an essential part of our heritage for many centuries.
With its hectares of sublime historic gardens, the Château de Versailles is a veritable treasure trove of discoveries, and just as well, since the château is once again taking part in the Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2024 ! Discover the richness of the King's kitchen garden, as well as Le Jardin du Parfumeur, the estate's scented plot next to the Grand Trianon.
