Visit Paris, we say yes, but away from the crowds with a breathtaking view, we say yes yes yes. Did you know you could hire a boat for a private cruise on the Seine? Whether you're with the family for an instructive visit, a couple for a honeymoon or a special event, or simply looking for a nice visit without walking for hours, the Paris Boat Club has something to tempt you.
We choose the time. For us, it's Friday afternoon. The skipper explains that a weekday is a good choice to avoid the crowds on the Seine. So off we go for a 2-hour ride from 2pm to 4pm. It's a tailor-made tour, since he tells us that we can ask to slow down in places we'd like to see more of.
Aboard the privatized boat, we rediscover Paris from the Seine. During the cruise, we'll visit all the historic monuments, museums and bridges on our way from the 13th arrondissement to the Ile Saint-Louis, via the Ile aux Cygnes. The backdrop is the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the Pont des Arts, the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay and Notre Dame de Paris. Discover, ahead of time, the route the boats will take during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on July 26, 2024, from Austerlitz to Trocadéro.
Comfortably seated, with a bottle of champagne or red, white or rosé wine, you can enjoy Paris like never before! We're Parisians, of course, but what a pleasure it is to rediscover Paris in a different way. Like cruise ships, which have to make the most of their visits and make as many round trips as possible, with the Paris Boat Club, we take our time and savor the moment.
The experience may seem a little expensive, but it's a real treat to visit Paris this way. Note that the boat can accommodate up to 9 adults. So it's ideal if you're a large group and want to keep the cost down. The Paris Boat Club team is on hand to make sure your cruise is perfectly organized, and the skipper is on hand to answer any questions you may have. If you'd like to ask him for his hand in marriage under the lights of the Eiffel Tower, anything's possible!
And if you're looking for an unforgettable souvenir, we can even take a 360° video of you. On the practical side, the boat has its own toilet (a small one, admittedly, but very useful if you're in a hurry). There's also a small table where you can enjoy a glass of wine or champagne, perhaps accompanied by some sweet treats. The choice is yours.
Don't forget to book your cruise, and don't forget that if you can't live without it, the Paris Boat Club 's year-round subscriptions are there to meet your needs and passions!
