A gourmet family cruise on the Seine, to get into carnival mode

On Wednesday 15, Wednesday 18, Monday 20, Wednesday 22, Saturday 25, Monday 27 February as well as Wednesday 1, Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March, meet at 3pm, Quai de Valmy, in the 10th arrondissement, at the intersection of Rue Jean Poulmarche and Quai de Valmy. During the two kilometers of crossing, it is the occasion to discover with the children the places, places and monuments which make Paris: the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Saint-Martin canal, the Louvre Palace, the Orsay museum station... Or to explore more secret places, such as the crypt located at the foot of the July column, place de la Bastille, the vaults that connect the Saint-Martin canal to the Seine, the double lock of the Temple, the smallest house in Paris... All this, in a boat decorated with the colors of the Carnival of Rio.

We embarked with the company Canauxrama, on the Arletty, for this cruise commented from A to Z by a specialized guide, present on the boat, with you! During two hours, he tells (in French AND in English) anecdotes, parts of the history of Paris, legends and clearly, it is a real added value to this cruise: we leave having inevitably learned something.

The other great advantage is that your place on board the boat is not fixed: you can take advantage of the upper deck and its unobstructed view of the monuments, of the front deck, a little more sheltered, or even of the glassed-in part, to be warm with your family. Each child also receives a mask to decorate and, for the snack, a pancake (with organic spread or homemade jam) is included in the price of the ticket, with a glass of chocolate or mulled wine (for adults only) to wash it all down!

The boat drops you off around 5pm at the Ile de la Cité: for this snack cruise, count 25 € for adults, 14 € for children from 4 to 12 years old and the good plan is that it's free for children under 4 years old!
