Whether during the vacations, when the weather's nice or not too cold, zoos and menageries are a must for outings with children: whatever their age, they're a great opportunity to discover and care for animals... Like the Hi-Han park in Roissy-en-Brie.
Here, you'll meet a host of strange residents, with hooves, fur or beaks: donkeys, ponies, sheep, goats, pigs, ducks, turkeys, geese, hens, roosters... live all year round in the animal park. In fact, Hi-Han is a human-scale park, where you can get up close and personal with some of the park's residents, stroke them and even feed them: what better way to immerse yourself in a farm! Since 1996, the park has been run by an association (HI HAN) and a team of volunteers, who look after the park's upkeep and the animals' well-being... all year round.
Unlike "classic" zoos, which can quickly become very expensive when you have to buy tickets for several children and several adults, the Hi-Han park has opted for an entry ticket at the same price for everyone, and above all, for less than €5: count €4 per entry, for children as well as adults, and it's even cheaper if you buy a ten-entry card, and children under two don't pay! It's a great way to get out into the open air and take advantage of this great deal when the weather's fine!
