Living in Paris means giving up a little of the green, the nature, the forest and the countryside. And even if we don't regret our daily life in the capital, sometimes we feel the need for a little getaway in the fresh air. So what could be better than spending an afternoon, or even better, a day on a farm?
For children, it's the perfect opportunity to see, touch, stroke and sometimes even feed farm animals (apart from the educational farms at the inevitable Salon de l'Agriculture, or certain events such as the Transhumance de la Villette , which return every year). Goats, sheep, ewes, pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, horses... It's a true immersion in the daily life of a farm, with, depending on the location, milking of the cows not to be missed, feeding of the animals or animations to learn all about the lifestyle of these furry two- and four-legged residents! A must for the whole family, and especially for little ones, who can really discover how a farm works.
Some even offer guided tours or creative and culinary workshops to keep you entertained all afternoon. Whether in the city, the countryside or just a Navigo pass away, a visit to a farm is also a great way to spend an afternoon with the whole family!
So, why not spend an afternoon or a day on one of the region's farms this Wednesday or this weekend ?
