From April 6 to 21, 2024, the little Parisians are on school vacations, like all the other pupils in zone C: so the Ferme de Viltain, in the Yvelines, is taking advantage of the opportunity to organize its madeleines workshops from April 8 to 12, to learn how to cook in a bucolic setting, during a day on the farm and in the fresh air!
What's on the agenda? Budding pastry chefs aged 5 to 14 can don their best chef's hat and a suitable apron: for 1h30, you'll learn how to make madeleines! It's the perfect opportunity to brush up on your pastry classics, during a gourmet workshop to make the famous cake with the unique bump. And that's not all! La Ferme has a whole program planned for the vacations: every day, you can visit the little calves, born a few months ago, watch the cows being milked live (and with explanations) in the milking parlour (from 3.45pm to 5.45pm) and then enjoy a farm snack. On the menu, you'll find madeleines and the farm's own apple juice to enjoy!
Ferme de Viltain is located in Jouy-en-Josas: this agricultural site is a breeding farm, a dairy and a pick-your-own farm (with an on-site market), just 17 kilometers from Paris. For families, it's the ideal place to discover the farm's animals and take part in educational workshops to learn how to make a plantation, bake cakes...How about going there during these Easter vacations 2023 ?
