ÔTIPI Saint-Placide, the family-friendly toy store in the 6th arrondissement of Paris

After opening the very first ÔTIPI store in June 2021, the family is expanding with a brand new address in the 6th arrondissement, a stone's throw from the Saint-Placide metro station.

As with the first store, there's a play area for children (toy train, board games, tea party), a café area for snacks and a whole section devoted to the boutique, with beautiful products handpicked by Aurélie and Valentine, the brand's two founders. Tableware, games, cuddly toys, clothes, toys, gift ideas for pregnancy or baby showers... You'll find absolutely everything you could imagine to make a lovely gift for a birth, a birthday... With prices in line with the market, there's something for every budget. "In the boutique, you'll find everything you need for a beautiful baby gift at €10, for example," explains Valentine.

Then, in the basement, there's a large activity room, where weekly sessions are scheduled for baby painters, clay artists, baby gym, yoga, theater, mother-baby dance, children's cooking classes... Family workshops are also held here, on Saturdays, Wednesdays or during the vacations! At each period of the year, the workshops take on different themes: the current schedule of activities is available on the website. The space can be made private for all occasions (baby showers, family reunions, events), andÔTIPI can also organize your child's birthday party (count €450 for a Saturday and €550 for a Sunday).

The café's menu includes gourmet cakes from pastry chef Madame Charlotte, including generous cakes, cookies and more. Not to mention hot drinks, tea, chocolates, coffees and infusions, to sip quietly while trying out a new board game.

For Christmas, ÔTIPI even offers a click&collect service, with a gift list (a bit like birth lists) for each child to discover. Alternatively, the store offers gift cards, if you fancy offering a pre- or post-natal workshop with baby to a mum-to-be at a baby shower, for example!
