Welcome to the Viltain Farm! Nestled in the heart of the Saclay plateau, in the Yvelines, the place is a dairy farm that produces its own dairy products: yoghurts, cheeses, farm cow's milk, cottage cheese...Do your shopping at the Farm's market : short circuit and committed products guaranteed!
In June, it is here that you can come and pick your strawberries, right in the strawberry field, during the harvesting periods. In September and October, it's the turn of the apples to be picked by the little budding farmers! For the picking, the animators welcome you to show you the farm's vegetable garden and explain the cultivation of strawberry and apple trees. Then, each child can pick 500g of strawberries or 5 apples (depending on the season) and leave with a coloring booklet and a gift voucher for 1kg of strawberries or 5 apples, to come and pick later. Count 4.50 € per child, knowing that the visit with the time of harvest lasts between 1h15 and 1h30.
The rest of the year, the farm welcomes you with open arms to let you discover its backstage, with free visits of the milking room and of the calf barns (every day of the year, from 9 am to 7 pm): if you arrive between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm, you will even be able to attend the milking of the cows live! If you prefer a guided tour with the professionals of the farm, they take place every Wednesday (from February to mid-November) at 3pm, as well as every Sunday (in April, May, June and September), at 11am, 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
