Tractor rides, children's entertainment and farmers' market at Ferme de Grignon (78)

On Sunday June 9, 2024, bring your family and friends to the Ferme de Grignon to discover this sheep (600 ewes) and cattle (200 cows) farm during the annual Open House. Spend a day discovering how the farm works, the animals bred on site and shop for local, seasonal produce, not to mention the many activities for the whole family!

A farm market featuring local producers awaits you all day long, with free tours of the farms, entertainment and games for young and old alike... There will also be pony rides, tractor rides and sessions to watch cows being milked, herd dog demonstrations and guided tours of the farms!

The Grignon Farm Open House program:

• Farmers' market with local producers (all day, from 10am to 6pm)
• Self-guided tours of the farm (all day, from 10am to 6pm))
• Entertainment and games (all day, from 10am to 6pm)
• Pony rides (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.), €5 per child
• Tractor rides (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.), €1 per person
• Milking cows, 3:30 pm to 5 pm
• Guided tours of the farm, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 4 pm
• Herding dog demonstration, at 11am and 3:30pm
• Raffle (draws at 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, 4 pm)

The good news is that Ferme de Grignon is accessible by public transport from Paris, taking the Transilien line N from Montparnasse station and several bus lines from Plaisir-Grignon station. The big plus of this day at the Ferme de Grignon is that many of the activities are free of charge (others are available at very low prices), making it a great way for families to spend a day in the fresh air of the Île-de-France region!
