A veritable bestiary of animals is taking over the Pavillon Vendôme: from October 16, 2024 (just in time for the long-awaited All Saints' Day vacations), a pack ofanimals made from folded paper can be admired in Clichy-la-Garenne, in the Hauts-de-Seine department. After hosting some very fine exhibitions last year, the Pavillon Vendôme now honorsorigamist Gérard Ty Sovann with the Faune en plis exhibition. After having dazzled young and old alike with Zoo en papier, his exhibition at the Espace Richaud, Versailles, the artist signs a new exhibition in Île-de-France.
Lions, giraffes, gazelles, elephants, pink flamingos and other animals from the Savannah (but not only) made from origami can be admired until January 11, 2025: embark on an unprecedented (and free) safari without even leaving the inner suburbs of Paris! Don't forget to explore the seabed, with its many aquatic creatures, or take a trip to the farm, with folded paper reproductions of goats, cows, pigs and other farm animals.
