Les Rendez-vous aux Jardins is the event for garden lovers in Paris and the Ile-de-France region: every year, at the beginning of June, it's your chance to discover or explore beautiful green spaces, whether English or French, private or public... The program includes a wide range of activities: guided tours, concerts, workshops... The exceptional gardens are yours to discover, whether you're with your family, friends, partner or solo!
In the Yvelines département, there's of course (the inevitable) Château de Versailles, but there are also some lesser-known nuggets of greenery, such as the Jardin des Aubépines in Auffargis. Spanning almost 3 hectares, this remarkable garden boasts an incredible variety of plants, flowers and shrubs, as well as ponds, streams and waterfalls that create a timeless atmosphere.
Curious visitors can stroll along the garden's winding paths, discover the various themed gardens or view the works of art scattered throughout the garden.
