Can you fish in the Paris Region? What fish live in our ponds, rivers and streams? How do you learn to fish? The Maison de la Pêche et de la Nature answers all these questions in its museum and aquarium, or by introducing you to fishing with a fishing course. The perfect family outing for young and old alike!

Located in Levallois-Perret, on theÎle de la Jatte, the Maison de la Pêche et de la Nature is the ideal outing for all budding anglers wishing to discover the underwater life of the aquatic environments close to home.

The Maison has a number of different areas: firstly, there's the Aquarium de la Seine museum, where you can discover the different freshwater fish that live in our rivers, and the aquatic ecosystems of the Île-de-France region... Immerse yourself in the heart of the Seine and discover the aquatic fauna that lives and evolves there every day. Take time out to observe the aquarium's 18 panoramic basins and their gilled and scaled residents during your visit.

Start your visit in the touch tank, where you can stroke the carp, before moving on to discover the catfish, the golden carass (goldfish family) and the small fish nursery. There's also an aquarium specially dedicated to Florida turtles, which you can watch swimming at close quarters. A little further on are the crayfish basins, with a blue crayfish like you've (certainly) never seen before!

Throughout your visit, you'll also discover the characteristics and lifestyles of these underwater species, most of which are found in the Seine. For groups, we recommend a 1h30 guided tour (€3 per person, minimum 10 people) to discover the secrets of the fish and other aquatic animals at the Maison de la Pêche et de la Nature in the presence of an animator.

Finally, if your child (or even you) has always dreamed of learning to fish, the Maison de la Pêche et de la Nature offers vacation workshops or courses to learn how to catch different species of fish: predators, carp, catfish, flies... You'll become a true budding angler, capable of tying fishing knots and, above all, catching big fish!
