It's a well-known Parisian spot for street art enthusiasts. Since the health crisis, the former Babcock factories, nestled in La Courneuve, have been infiltrated by the " La Babcockerie " artists' collective, unveiling incredible works of art over almost 3 hectares!
While the site is exceptionally open on certain weekends, such as during the Journées du Patrimoine, this one-of-a-kind spot is soon to make way for the Fabrique des Cultures, a project supported by Emerige, Compagnie de Phalsbourg and the City of La Courneuve. Quai 36 is celebrating this future transformation on Saturday, September 23, 2023, with a free party open to all!
This Saturday, from midday to midnight, come and discover the Friche Babcock, an incredible temple of street art in Seine-Saint-Denis, as well as enjoying a range of events. Some twenty artists, associations and local players will be on hand to offer free workshops and activities based around art and culture: street art exhibitions, urban art trails, creative workshops, conferences, DJ sets, shows, urban sports and dance battles, not forgetting the food market... all to be discovered in the Triple Halle and the Terrace.
