Fête de l'Île Saint-Denis 2024: carnival, games and free activities for the city festival

The only island in the Seine-Saint-Denis département,Ile Saint-Denis is, as its name suggests, part of Saint-Denis. Surrounded on both sides by the River Seine, the city's appearance is at times urban, at other times more bucolic, particularly as you approach its large departmental park. On Saturday July 6, 2024, it's time to celebrate with a theme that's more than topical: the Olympic Island at the heart of the world.

So, for this great day of festivities, get ready to attend a big carnival parade, followed by numerous sports initiations, water games, inflatables and other free activities open to all.

On the program for the Fête de l'Île Saint-Denis 2024:

• Carnival-style parade, starting at 2pm in Place des Arts
• 3:30 pm: Parade arrives at Robert-César stadium
• 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Sports initiations, inflatables, fun workshops, water games, food stalls
• From 7:30pm: concert evening and official launch of Île Saint-Denis Plage

And if you still have a little energy left after this day of festivities, join us on Sunday July 7 for Nage ta Seine, the swimming and buoy race in the Parc de l'Île Saint-Denis!
