Does your dog need to go out, romp, sniff and play with other four-legged friends? In Paris, it's not always easy to walk your beloved pooch, between the crowds that are always bustling and the traffic, the two-wheelers and the scooters.
It is obvious that walking your dog in a green space in the capital is the best solution. But beware, four-legged furry animals are not allowed in all parks. Only those without children's playgrounds or the very large parks with playgrounds(the Buttes-Chaumont park, the Montsouris park for example), allow dogs - with leash - in the alleys. However, dogs are not allowed on the lawns and in the flower beds.
We take this opportunity to remind you that keeping your dog on a leash in the public space is an obligation for all owners and mistresses. However, the capital has several cani parks (see list below) where your dog is free to roam without a leash.

And for the dogs who need more freedom and to meet other fur balls like them, you should know that there are 13 canine spaces in Paris where dogs can walk without a leash.

For dogs needing even more space and freedom, we remind you that the capital benefits from the Bois de Boulogne and the Bois de Vincennes, respectively in the West and East of Paris. These two woods are equipped withcanine freedom spaces, up to 1 hectare.
