The capital, despite its very urban feel, abounds in small green spaces, parks and gardens where you can take a break and go green. But it's still hard to find a small, pollution-free corner of greenery where you can relax in peace and quiet. Fortunately, just a few kilometers away and thanks to Paris's many train stations, you can access sublime spots covering acres of forest and parkland, sometimes even close to châteaux! And if you want to discover the region's gardens from top to bottom, we've got just the event for you: the Rendez-vous aux Jardins!
This event, which lets you explore the greenery of Ile-de-France and take part in nature and gardening-related activities, is back from May 31 to June 2, 2024. Over the course of the weekend, you'll be able to take in the different landscapes and garden styles that dot the departments of Ile-de-France, and breathe in the fresh air. For the adventurous who want to get out of the capital, put your Navigo pass in your backpack, and let's go for some sunny days!
In this selection, we've gathered together all the participating parks and gardens that are accessible from Paris with your Navigo pass. Hop on a bus, Transilien or RER- they're waiting for you!
Which green space will you be visiting?
