On Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27, 2025, the town of Guignes in the Seine-et-Marne region of France will be inaugurating the second edition of its Médiévale! For the second year running, young and old alike are invited to discover medieval customs and traditions.
What's on the agenda? A medieval village will be set up on the Place de Vitry in the village, showcasing the skills and know-how of the Middle Ages, as well as offering introductions to the sporting disciplines of the time (archery, Viking games, etc.). With family or friends, you won't want to miss the many ancient wooden games on offer throughout the Médiévale, as well as the plays put on by the various troupes and the fire show!
On-site catering will include medieval dishes, grills and aperitif platters.
Admission is free and open to all: see you on Saturday, April 26, from 10am to 8pm and on Sunday, April 27, from 10am to 6pm for the Médiévale de Guignes!
