As it happens every summer in Paris, temporary terraces take over the French capital. Terraces with views on the Eiffel Tower, terraces by the water or perched terraces… There is something for everyone.
If you happen to be in the 19th arrondissement, so perhaps have you heard about the guinguette village by Café A. After a first season on the rooftop of the Montparnasse tower, this XXL terrace moved and arrived on July 4 between the Canal de l’Ourcq and the parc de la Villette.
Covering over 600sqm, come and enjoy entertainments, as well as boardgames, concerts and even temporary sales for children and adults.
To arouse your taste buds, La Guinguette Villette by Café A teamed up with solidarity and eco-friendly canteen Mam’ayoka providing works to women far from jobs by transforming their talent for cooking into viable jobs. On the menu then? Flavors from here and there with dishes to share cooked with fresh and quality ingredients. And to accompany these plates, enjoy homemade juices such as ginger juice or bissap juice.
To make the most of the Guinguette Villette summer 2020 head to Paris 19th arrondissement, where used to stand My Boat, in the Folie area, allée du Belvédère.
The terrace is open on Monday and Tuesday from 5 p.m. to midnight, and from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. midnight.
Alcohol abuse is bad for your health, please drink responsibly.
