Winegrowers from the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation are reopening their ephemeral wine bar in the heart of Paris, from Tuesday November 5 to Sunday November 10 in the first arrondissement.
Taken by storm by Parisians during the first edition last year, this unique wine bar offers a real encounter with winemakers, at the counter, to discover their wines free of charge. A unique concept!
For 5 days, this event is the ideal opportunity to taste red and white (dry) wines directly with their producers. In all, some twenty winemakers take turns to showcase the richness and variety ofBlaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation wines.
This will be the perfect opportunity for Parisians to talk to the winemakers, and enjoy their wines accompanied by a cheese and charcuterie board , thanks to the event's partners: Tomme des Pyrénées and AOP Kintoa .
In short, it's the ideal place for a convivial afterwork or an evening out with family and friends, South-West style!
It's also a good time to start thinking about Christmas gifts, or to fill up your cellar, as wine lovers can buy their wines at estate prices.
Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply curious, this is the event for you!
On the program: tasting, sharing and conviviality!
From 5pm to midnight: tastings, sales by the glass and bottle, charcuterie and cheese boards.
The enthusiasm is palpable, as Nicolas Carreau, President of the appellation, points out: "We weren't expecting such success last year! For us winegrowers, it was a real pleasure (and a surprise) to discover Parisians so curious about our wines and our know-how. The vineyards of Bordeaux have come a long way, and now offer a number of cuvées rich in innovation and history that deserve to be highlighted.
Our partner establishments are always in the limelight:
At the same time, the original Blaye au Comptoir formula that won so many hearts is not disappearing - quite the contrary.
The winemakers will also be making their presence felt in various partner restaurants, bars and wineries.
Among them are familiar names such as L'Alcazar, Le Triadou and Le Mesturet, who have been loyal to the event for many years.
Names like Marie-Claude and Patrick Penaud of Château Bois-Vert and Eric Billières of Domaine du Cassard will be present, notably at Restaurant La Gauloise in the 15th arrondissement.
All in all, Blaye au Comptoir in Paris promises to be the must-attend event for all wine enthusiasts this year, and even the curious. Mark your calendars!
