The Palace Parisien Princes de Galles reopened its doors last May after 2 years of waiting. A wait rewarded by the appearance of a new bar named"Les Heures". During the summer months, don't miss the magnificent patio, a terrace of undisputed elegance and charm meticulously restored by Bruno Borrione.
Teak, marble, palm trees and bohemian armchairs make up a soothing, green stopover in the heart of Paris, a refreshing summer interlude. Under its magnificent historical mosaic arcades, come and sip a drink chosen from the cocktail menu paying tribute to the carefree spirit of the Roaring Twenties. This bar will delight the many beverage lovers eager to discover and taste effervescent creations.
Want to accompany your drink with a good snack? Opt for the fingerfood with seasonal products imagined by Stéphanie Le Quellec (winner of Top Chef 2011) who also officiates at La Scène, the gastronomic restaurant of the Hotel. Carpaccio, fresh vegetables, a variety of olive oils, ice creams and homemade sorbets are available for a moment of delight.
For a tea break and sweet tooths, we opt for the 32€ snack formula concocted by Yann Couvreur. Hot drinks and pastries from the cart are on the menu for tea time (Saint Honoré mint-raspberry, chocolate éclair, wild strawberry and verbena tart, macaroons, vanilla millefeuille, lemon tart, kouglof...) accompanied by some sweets.
I recommend the Tahitian Vanilla millefeuille in five sheets, finely golden and caramelized, sprinkled with powdered sugar, a delight!
