How abouta healthy, gourmetbrunch? That's what the Plaza Athénée is offering us this fall, a brunch that doesn't focus on foods that make you lose weight (although they can), but on foods that are good for your health.
The Plaza Athénée is not saying goodbye to its classic Sunday brunch, but is now offering a healthy brunch on Saturdays, the kind of brunch that won't upset your stomach afterwards, and with which you can be sure of a balanced, gourmet offering.
To create this brunch, the whole team gave their all and came up with some great proposals. From head chef Philippe Marc to head baker Guillaume Cabrol, from pastry chefs Angelo Musa and Alexandre Dufeu to fruit grower Jorge Ferreira.
The brunch is served in the sumptuous breakfast room, which is a sight to behold. This is not a buffet, as everything is served at the table. Gluten-free breads and special breads, including one with ancient flours and cereals, take center stage.
A cart called"l'Atelier Healthy Bowl", moves around the room so you can compose your verrine to suit your mood. You can choose fromAcaï bowls with cereals and fruit, porridge or granola, Miam ö fruits or mixed yogurts. This is another example of the company's commitment to its customers, offering them made-to-measure products made by its teams before their very eyes.
Brunch begins with a detox water on arrival, followed by a choice of hot beverage: organic coffee or herbal teas. We also offer special breads, brioche and Kouglof for those with a sweet tooth, with or without homemade fruit or coconut butter.
For starters, we're offered a choice of Crab royal (avocado, guacamole, passion fruit and fresh palm heart), Salade bien-être or Poke bowl (salmon, quinoa, Granny Smith). The hardest part is choosing...
For the main course, choose from the soft-boiled eggs with artichokes, the white omelette with seasonal vegetables, Le Moulinier's konjac tagliatelle or the wellness dish of the day.
No meal without cheese! We finish with a delicious, fine Rocamadour goat's cheese. And to round off the meal, you're served a trio of sweet treats. Chia pudding with coconut milk and fruit, quinoa with rice milk, vegetable and tonka bean cream and granita are the creations that will delight you without weighing you down.
In short, here's a great proposal for people who want to treat themselves while thinking about their health.
