People who frequent the Bassin d'Arcachon know well the Dunes Blanches, these famous light cream puffs imagined by Pascal Lucas in 2007 in Picquey at Cap-Ferret. No need to make the trip anymore, you will be able to find them in Paris!
But what are they? It is a fresh chouquette with a whipped cream that Pascal has the secret. A happy marriage imagined after a party, which was an immediate success, so much so that he registered the brand in July 2009.
He opened his first single-product store in 2016 in the Golden Triangle of Bordeaux. Building on his success, he continues with Arcachon in 2017. And it is now in Paris in the Marais that he now puts his bags or rather his little cabbages.
We discover a nice store that reminds the atmosphere of the seaside: light wood, white sand and rope are there. Don't look for 150 recipes, here there is only one product and one perfume, except on weekends when an ephemeral is waiting for you, announced on Monday on the facebook page of the place.
Currently we discover ephemera made in partnership with the House of Mouton Cadet and especially its oenologist. We tested the white wine-yuzu version of the most famous.
The puffs are garnished on the spot as the day goes on, according to the requests, which guarantees the marriage of the crunchiness and the freshness. Count 1,30€ the Dune Blanche and 7,20€ the 6. The ephemeral one is at 1,80€ the weekend.
How about a little package to share (or not)?
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
