Issy-les-Moulineaux is now home to a must-visit stopover in the Paris region! Les Halles d'Issy Biltoki, an ultra-gourmand spot that combines food markets and on-site or takeaway catering.
Created in 1884 by Gustave Eiffel, 5 years after the construction of our beloved Eiffel Tower, Les Halles d'Issy-les-Moulineaux witnessed the industrialization of the town in the 19th century. Neglected, the Halles d'Issy are now enjoying a second lease of life, with their renovation and the opening of a large food market.
The project is being led by Biltoki, a Basque company whose ambition is to create halles in towns that lack them, but also to rehabilitateold halles where they have died out over the years. This new food market covers more than 1,000m2 and is dedicated to the culinary trades.
On the program: 20 stalls from local craftsmen and merchants in a friendly, authentic setting in the heart of the Paris metropolis. The covered market features a Biltoki café, a market kitchen, caterers and traders - bakery, greengrocer, cheese shop, fishmonger, scaler, delicatessen, butcher, rotisserie and wine merchant. Fresh, local and seasonal produce can also be found at Bistrot d'Elo.

Throughout the year, Les Halles d'Issy organizes festive events. In any case, it's the ideal spot to settle down at any time of day, whether for a coffee with a pastry, lunch of a variety of dishes, alone or with friends, or to enjoy an evening out.
