If you'd like to visit the Hauts-de-Seine department, take advantage of the river shuttles that are making a comeback from August 31 to September 29, 2024, for a change from the metro and bicycles! It's the perfect way to rediscover the region's cultural heritage, including factories, museums and beautiful gardens, in a more original way - on the water and in an environmentally-friendly way, since the shuttles are electro-solar catamarans!
Already introduced free of charge for last year's Journées du Patrimoine, these shuttles offer three stops every weekend: Issy-les-Moulineaux (Port Victor), Sèvres (Quai du Maréchal Juin), and Boulogne-Billancourt (Quai Alphonse Le Gallo). All trips cost 2 euros, except during the JEP period when the trip is free. These 50-passenger catamarans depart every two hours, from 10.30 a.m. to 6.15 p.m., and must be booked in advance.
Discover the region's renowned tourist and natural attractions within easy walking distance, including the Tour aux Figures, the Île Saint-Germain departmental park, the Halles Biltoki, the Musée national de la Céramique in Sèvres, the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, the Seine Musicale, the Musée départemental Albert-Kahn and the Île Seguin!
An ideal means of transport for a pleasant stroll in the sunshine, which could well become a permanent feature in the years to come!
