For the Journées du Patrimoine 2024, enjoy the culture of the Paris region by bike, along the Seine à Vélo cycle route, which links Paris to the sea. On the program, discover the surrounding area as if in an open-air art gallery.

The Journées du Patrimoine are the perfect opportunity to discover the hidden treasures and nooks and crannies of the Île-de-France region, by public transport , and even by bike! For an eco-friendly, sporty outing, why not hop on your bike and set off on an assault on the region's museums and fascinating sites, using the cycle paths, and in particular the Seine à Vélo? On September 21 and 22, 2024, this cycling itinerary linking Paris to the sea invites you to discover the region's heritage along the way, in the heart of nature, like an open-air art gallery!

If you're too tired to pedal, you can leave any stage of La Seine à Vélo by retracing your steps, or by boarding a train at one of the stations along the route. During this heritage weekend, you'll be able to visit a number of sites that are opening their doors free of charge for the occasion, for events or guided tours, some of them unusual, before setting off on new adventures at the next stage!

As you stroll along, you'll discover superb castles, churches, listed monuments and other historic gems that have inspired so many artists. If you're feeling sporty, continue outside the region to Giverny, Rouen and even Honfleur!
