Heritage Days 2024: guided tour of the Hôtel de l'Industrie

This year, the Journées du Patrimoine 2024 will take place on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22. Initiated in France in 1984, the aim of these days is to promote cultural and architectural heritage by enabling visitors to discover places that are usually closed or not easily accessible, such as theHôtel de l'Industrie, which is scheduled for a guided tour on Sunday September 22.

The Hôtel de l'Industrie, located in the heart of Paris's Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, is a prestigious historic building constructed in 1823. Originally designed to house exhibitions and meetings linked to the industrial and scientific advances of the time, the Hôtel rapidly gained in importance, becoming a meeting place for engineers, inventors and entrepreneurs, playing a crucial role in the spread of industrial innovations in France. The site is opening its doors for the Journées du Patrimoine 2024 with a guided tour.
