Le Clos Tellier, the country guesthouse less than an hour from Paris

With its country airs, slightly reminiscent of Claude Monet's house in Giverny, Le Clos Tellier is a family-run guest house, ideal for a weekend in the fresh air less than an hour from Paris, or for a stay in the Paris region, without having to sleep in the capital. With its pretty garden lined with fruit trees, its terrace and its large living room with fireplace, it's a warm place to be in summer or winter, whether the weather is hot or cold. Dating back to the end of the 19th century, the building has retained its character and underwent a complete renovation when the host of the premises, Emmanuelle, bought it.

As for the rooms, you'll be spoilt for choice between the luminous J'adore room (from €200 per night), the la Vie est belle room (from €190) or the Scotland Yard suite with its tartan motifs (from €210 per night). Each room has a desk area, free wi-fi and the suite is designed to accommodate up to 5 people. Comfort, refinement and spacious rooms: the place has it all, and that's not counting the breakfast served every morning. For dinner or lunch, a snack menu is available, or Emmanuelle will be happy to recommend local restaurants. A great address to treasure fora weekend in the Ile-de-France countryside this year!
