From November 21 to December 22, 2019 it’s in Paris 11th arrondissement that opens a pop-up restaurant, the outcome of the partnership with New-York based Brooklyn Brewery and food passionate Adrien Larripa and Alexandre Marchon.
Magnum is the name of this new temporary place that brings together a restaurant and a vermouth cellar and that expects to unite hedonists over simple delights.
In the kitchen Antonin Girard – who created groups Animal Kitchen Animal Records and Festival de la Douve Blanche – is happy to entertain you with goo food. By the way, if the Magnum address rings a bell it’s because this is where used to stand restaurant Muxu, by the same Antonin Girard!
For 5 weeks, Magnum will be paced by a nice program: 4-hand winter dinner on Thursday, festive meal and big dishes to share on Friday, free rein to guests on Saturday. And on Sunday, it’s like at home, a roasted chicken served with homemade mashed potatoes and nature wine.
For each dinner, a beer pairing is available to discover all the creations of Brooklyn Brewery: Brooklyn Lager, Brooklyn Defender Ipa, Brooklyn Bel Air Sour, Brooklyn Pumpkin Ale, Brooklyn Naranjito, Black Chocolate Stout or even Brooklyn Special Effects.
A pairing that will show you that beer can pair nice dishes as well as wine does!
You can also discover another place, the Vermouth counter where you can enjoy raw products served on a plate and enjoy a selection of beers, nature wines and cocktails based on Vermouth.
Let’s give it a go, shall we?
