A new restaurant with an exceptional terrace is about to open its doors on the Rive Gauche side of Paris' 7th arrondissement. Kinugawa Rive Gauche promises refined Franco-Japanese cuisine in a restaurant overlooking Paris and the Eiffel Tower, opening on April 3, 2025.

Kinugawa continues its gastronomic ascent after Vendôme and Matignon, crossing the Seine to set up shop on the Left Bank, atop theHôtel Sax in Paris's 7th arrondissement. From April 2025, this new showcase will offer a culinary experience combining Parisian elegance with the serenity ofJapanese aesthetics. Nestled on a spectacular rooftop, the restaurant promises a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, bathed in golden reflections and night lights.

Behind a majestic facade with an assertive character, the interior blends textures and perspectives, between fluted natural wood, printed fabrics and touches of patinated bronze. A play of mirrors magnifies the light, sublimating the refined atmosphere of the place. Facing the large picture windows, Paris invites itself to the table, making every meal as contemplative as it is delicious. On the upper floor, under a moving sky, Kinugawa Rive Gauche extends the experience on a panoramic terrace, between Haussmannian rooftops and subdued lighting.

In terms of cuisine, the menu offers a subtle dialogue between tradition and modernity, highlighting the precisionof the gesture and the purity of the flavors. The house promises exceptional dishes such as toro sashimi with citrus ponzu, crispy taruto galette with salmon and white truffle, yellowtail carpaccio with yuzu and green chili, tuna tartar with caviar and the iconic black cod marinated in miso. At the bar, cocktails are inspired by Japanese and Parisian flavors, blending shiso, umeshu and sake with the great classics. Designed for celebration and contemplation, the drinks menu reflects this duality between aesthetics and precision.

After conquering Vendôme, Matignon, Ramatuelle, Megève and Courchevel, Kinugawa continues its culinary adventure, exporting all the way to Dubai, where in March 2025 it will take over the latest hotel opus, Marsa Al Arab. For the time being, however, this new chapter is being played out in Paris, right in the heart of the Left Bank, in an exceptional setting combining effervescence and refinement. With a capacity of 180 covers in the dining room and 200 on the terrace, Kinugawa Rive Gauche promises to be one of the must-visit venues for Parisian nights, offering inspired cuisine and a hushed ambience.

Kinugawa Rive Gauche opens its doors in April 2025 at 55 avenue de Saxe, 75007 Paris. It's an address we can't wait to discover, and one that's sure to add to our notebook of trendy Parisian evenings, good Japanese restaurants to try, especially on the terrace , and rooftops with breathtaking views.
