If you've ever been to Monaco, then you may be familiar with the Lebanese restaurant Em Sherif, located in the Hôtel de Paris in Monte-Carlo. At the helm is chef Yasmina Hayek, who has worked in the kitchens of Mathieu Pacaud and Jean-François Piège, among others.
In January 2025, this sunny address takes up residence in the French capital, not far from the Musée Jacquemart-André. At 134 boulevard Haussmann, Em Sherif promises gourmets a "voyage of the senses, featuring Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine ", between Middle Eastern traditions and an openness to the world.
The restaurant adds: "The cuisine is inspired by a singular story: that of Mireille Hayek, founder of Em Sherif, who honors her roots through an authentic approach. And it's her daughter, Yasmina Hayek, who perpetuates the story by imagining traditional recipes from her childhood, reworked to carry each guest away in a sweet oriental dream."
This should be a mouth-waterer for many a Parisian foodist in search of flavors from elsewhere, especially in the middle of winter. While no precise date has yet been announced, the opening is expected early next year. Stay tuned for more details!
