Muxu, pronounced "mouchou" means "little affectionate kiss" and also refers to a delicious little macaroon from Saint-Jean de Luz.
Antonin Girard, the young chef of the house, proposes an inventive and generous cuisine in line with the "New French Bistrot" movement. He works with quality products that he meticulously selects from the best producers. Among the must-try dishes of the house, you will find the grilled mackerel, the creamy burrata and melting beet, the roasted monkfish and its creamy corn, peanut chips, the ravioli of beef chuck, red cabbage pickles... And on the sweet side, the banana yuzu bavarois or the chocolate shortbread.
All the recipes of Muxu are conceived with fresh seasonal products and cooked at the minute. The menu is renewed every 15 days. The spirit is southwestern with the tortilla, the Muxu Burger with Ossau-Iraty or the "mouchous" that accompany the gourmet coffee.
Every two months, the Sandwich Club comes to Muxu with high quality sandwiches and a DJ who sets the mood.
Among the star sandwiches of the first editions are
