Closed since October, casinos are impatiently waiting to reopen and receive gamblers agains. After waiting for over six months, and several disillusions, the future is brightening up again: casinos will be allowed to resume from May 19, 2021.
State Secretary for Tourism Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne has yet stated all casino installations will not open to the public from May. Moreover, a reduced gauge will be instated to limit crowds.
From May 19, casinos will reopen with a 35% gauge and can only make slot machines available. From June 9, gaming tables can be used and facilities can receive up to 50% of the public. And gauges can reach 100% from June 30, if the health situation enables to do so.
