The Colors Festival, whose last edition had to be shut down by the authorities, is taking to the open sea, leaving the capital for the Val-de-Marne. For lovers of urban art, Champigny-sur-Marne is the place to go to enjoy this festival, which takes over abandoned buildings and dwellings.
Until January 5, 2025, we're off to 37 avenue Roger Salengro to discover a totally transformed 300 m2 house. It's a 3-storey former radiology practice, made available by Sully Immobilier. A singular, abandoned house, as you'd expect, where nature has begun to reclaim its rights. The ideal setting for an exceptional playground forurban art artists. Against an ecological backdrop, flora and fauna await you.
Under the direction of Dave Baranes, a renowned creator in the world of street-art, 17 urban artists came to take possession of every wall, every room of the house, which was transformed into a giant canvas.

More than a classic exhibition, the Colors Festival offers an immersive experience where we are invited to interact with art in a dynamic way. From graffiti workshops to reading and coloring areas for children, the festival encourages active participation to be accessible to all, whatever their age or level of expertise. What's more, a café is on the program, with a lovely terrace if the weather permits.
The unique setting of this house, where nature is beginning to reclaim its rights, adds an extra dimension to the exhibition. The contrast between the urbanity of street-art and the wildness of the surrounding nature promises a wonderful discovery. Are you anurbex fan? This is the exhibition for you!
The exhibition is open to you every weekend and every day during the All Saints and Christmas school vacations in zone C, from 10am to 6pm on weekends and from 11am on vacation weeks. Don't forget the preferential rates available in pre-sale, and we recommend you book ahead to guarantee access to this must-see street-art spot.
Since opening in February, the collection has been enriched with over 40% new works and welcomed a dozen more talented artists. The house continues to blossom, the works have multiplied and the garden has been transformed, with pumpkins as a bonus for All Saints' Day. What's more, the painting shed at the back of the garden has become a veritable rainbow playground, thanks to the contributions of all its visitors, so you can come back again and again to discover the participative work.
As a reminder, the Colors Festival stands out for its commitment to providing a platform where street art, often perceived as ephemeral and marginal, is celebrated and enhanced in a unique context. This monumental exhibition invites deeper reflection on the role of urban art in the revitalization and transformation of neglected urban spaces.
