This autumn, the 18th arrondissement of Paris once again lives to the rhythm of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. The 91st edition of this event awaits you this week, from Wednesday, October 9 to Sunday, October 13, 2024, with a new program rich in diverse and varied entertainment.
This year, the Fête des Vendanges takes us on a dreamlike journey with the theme of the imaginary! "Aspiring to a better world, transforming, giving oneself the strength to invent, accessing the marvellous, the fantastic, creating images, sounds, ideas and thus giving room to inventive, dreamlike, funny artistic forms where street shows, films, street art, unusual concerts, poetry or song mingle..." detail the organizers on their website.
Since 1934, the Clos Montmartre wine festival has been celebrated in October for five joyous days of popular festivities, with a focus on taste and gastronomy! The third-busiest Parisian event after Nuit Blanche and Paris Plages, 500,000 visitors are once again expected to take to the streets of the Butte. Exhibitions, live shows, music, parades, dances, tastings of local and artisanal products and a wide range of other activities are all on offer to delight young and old, tourists and Parisians alike.
So, who has the honor of sponsoring this new edition? Sophie Mounicot and Jérôme Bonaldi have been chosen as godmothers and godfathers of this 2024 edition. They succeed Camélia Jordana, Sandrine Bonnaire, Nolwenn Leroy, Anaïs, Olivia Ruiz, Firmine Richard, Victoria Abril, Naomi Campbell, Carole Bouquet, Angunn and Mistinguett, who was the first godmother of the Vendanges in 1934.
As every year, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre will delight Parisians with an eclectic and festive program: the taste trail, the children's choir, vineyard tours, the grand parade, Decibels Vendanges concerts and the closing ball. Discover the program for this 91st edition of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre!
