Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre 2024 in Paris: the program of festivities
The not-to-be-missed Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre returns to the heights of the hilltop this week, from Wednesday October 9 to Sunday October 13, 2024, with a program as enticing as ever, between the taste trail, the grand parade, Decibels Vendanges concerts, the closing ball and tours of the famous vineyards. Here's the program! [Read more]
The Fête des Vendanges program is packed with events, including a visit to the Clos de Montmartre vineyards, numerous parties, concerts, a race, shows and guided tours of the district... Among the highlights, don't miss the traditional grand parade, the popular balls, the ceremony of non-marriage proposals or the symobilique ban des vendanges.
With children, it's a great opportunity to discover the history of the hilltop of Montmartre, a former vine-growing area, and to enjoy the many parades and ceremonies organized, as well as the entertainment for the little ones, designed especially for them! While the atmosphere at the end of the day and in the evening is particularly festive, the rest of the day the Fête des Vendanges is a relatively family-friendly event, and we highly recommend a visit, if only to see the Clos de Montmartre, which is only open to visitors on this occasion!

Superbe(s) - participatory dance performance
The four performers of Compagnie Group Berthe take spectators in search of sensations into an unbridled universe where we forget who we are and where we come from, to rap, electro, poetic or more absurd sounds. If you'd like to dance and be a guiding dancer, join the team (whatever your level!).
Le Ban des Vendanges
The Compagnons de la Butte Montmartre perform the Olympic anthem in French and Greek during the Ban des Vendanges, which brings together the brotherhoods and folk groups of the Grand Défilé.
Le Grand Défilé
More than fifty brotherhoods from France and abroad gather for the Grand Défilé of the 90th Fête des Vendanges.

A dream to imagine" walk
A wall of frescoes with an ever-changing décor, former railway halls in need of conversion, an original cooperative supermarket, a cross-country garden under construction, a bus center undergoing redevelopment, a revolutionary Art Deco swimming pool... we'll stroll from south to north to admire these places of yesterday and today, witnesses to the wonders of the imagination.
Bal à la page by Les Livreurs
Between dance and sound readings, with the imagination at the Festival, the Bal à la Page is like no other.

The non-proposal ceremony
If you've ever dreamed of getting married for real, now's the time! In a pink-and-red decor featuring frilly, draped fabrics, the unmarried-to-be line up in front of the mayor of the 18th arrondissement to put the ring on their fingers.
The "Imaginary power at the Chapelle" walk
Louise de Marillac and her Sisters of Charity, Eudes de Mezeray and his History of France, Claude-Emmanuel Luillier and his gallant poems, Pierre-Théophile Berton and his revolutionary mill wings, Paul Eluard and his Surrealist poems, Carlos Regazzoni and his bewildering sculptures...

On site, visitors can try their hand at footgolf and goal-shooting to hone their accuracy, as well as BMX, a discipline that earned France a hat-trick of Olympic medals!

Collaborative fresco at Goutte d'Or
As in previous years, a hundred or so producers and winemakers made their way to the top of the Butte, their arms laden with regional specialities. At the foot of the Sacré-Coeur, gourmet visitors stroll along the cobblestones, discovering the best of local and international terroirs.
Don't hesitate to take advantage of this traditional festival to see the Butte de Montmartre in a different light, stroll among the stalls selling local produce or take part in the entertainment on offer all weekend long!
