The Eiffel Tower, one of Paris's most famous landmarks, was evacuated on Tuesday, December 24, following a short circuit detected on the power rail of an elevator. The incident, which occurred between the second floor and the top, triggered the fire alarm at 10:50 am. The Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE) reassures us that there is no danger to visitors, and that a partial reopening was possible after verification.
