This year, Easter weekend falls on Saturday, April 8, Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10, 2023: at Le Bon Marché, the hunts are taking place a little early, to get a taste of chocolate, even before this long holiday weekend.
At Le Bon Marché rive gauche, the historic department store in the 7th arrondissement, La Grande Épicerie is organizing its own life-size egg hunt, from 2 to 3 pm (departure every quarter of an hour) on April 1, 2023. It is said that the Choco Poule have laid many chocolate eggs (or others with a chocolate surprise inside), to be unearthed all afternoon by little hunters from 4 to 10 years old. At the Bon Marché rive droite, the brand's newest store, located in the Muette district (Paris 16th), the egg hunt will take place on April 5, also from 2 to 3 pm.
Whichever bank of Le Bon Marché you go to for the hunt: meet at the Grande Épicerie reception desk for the start. Each child will explore the store with his or her own little basket, and then you can leave with some nice chocolates.
On March 29, La Grande Ép icerie welcomes Charlotte Toubeau, a pastry chef who will reveal her pro secrets to children to make a chef's dessert for Easter: an all-chocolate pothole. With a pecan brownie base, vanilla ganache and chocolate vermicelli to make the nest, kids can create the nest of their dreams for a Choco Poule. Two sessions will take place, at 2pm and 4pm on March 29: count 25 € per child to participate in this workshop (on reservation) of 1h30. The little extra is that your children are under the responsibility of Les Récrés' animators during the whole workshop, so you are free to stroll around for 1h30 and do your shopping in complete serenity!
