For part of the All Saints' Day vacations, from October 22 to 31, 2025, the Musée de la Gendarmerie Nationale in Melun is offering a free program (included in the admission ticket), aimed at younger visitors. Take a behind-the-scenes look at an unusual profession, such as criminal identification technician, or take part in a Halloween workshop...
The Musée de la Gendarmerie Nationale in Melun tells the story of the Gendarmerie, from its inception in the Middle Ages to the present day. With a collection of over 30,000 objects and documents, it explains not only the missions of the Gendarmerie, but also the different professions it employs. For children, the museum offers an itinerary tailored to their needs, with a games booklet, virtual and life-size games, storytelling and dramatized tours, and vacation workshops.
