For once, it's a children's show that tells what children really live: here, it's the climate emergency, which is staged by the novelist and playwright Stéphane Michaka, in partnership with the composer Sarah Lianne Lewis, in partnership with the Orchestre National de Bretagne and presented at the Seine Musicale.
On stage, it is the story of Lise, a 10 year old girl that is told. She lives on an island in the North Atlantic and, one day, she sees polar animals stranded because of the melting of the ice floe. She alone is looking for a solution to save them.
The symphonic tale is addressed to the youngest, of course, but also to adults, reminding them of the danger linked to the climate emergency. If the show is poetic and fictional, it remains a gentle awareness for the youngest and also a learning resource to encourage the youngest to preserve the coasts, fauna and underwater flora.
Only one performance is proposed for this symphonic tale, on Sunday March 12 at 4 pm, as part of the Classiques du dimanche, the young audience program of La Seine Musicale to discover classical music with the family.
