Famillathlon 2019 at Paris Champs de Mars

The Famillathlon is back this Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Champ de Mars but also in several other cities in France, to introduce young people to sports while bringing families together around fun activities! Don't miss this annual event that offers a whole range of free sports activities for all ages, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

The Famillathlon, 2019 edition, returns this Sunday, September 29 on the Champ de Mars. The principle is simple, to bring together families and associations around various physical activities to raise awareness of the benefits of sport.

In France, you should know that for 94% of parents surveyed, spending time with their family is a priority. However, the majority of you (31%) share less than half an hour of leisure or sports activities with your child(ren) during the week. For most of you, this is insufficient and frustrating. What if we could change things by finding the activity or activities that would please everyone?

The Famillathlon aims to help different generations discover or rediscover the pleasure and benefits generated by sports and sports activities; to motivate families to take time to practice them regularly! With nearly forty sports activities freely available, the Famillathlon is a good opportunity to introduce children to tennis, rugby or climbing before enrolling them in clubs for the school year.

The Famillathlon association, created in 2005, aims to develop the pleasure of sports activities in order to limit health problems. Among other things, the event will be an opportunity for parents to discover the evils of addictions - drugs or screens of all kinds - and to learn first aid...
