From October 23 to 29, 2024, Mon Premier Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary by introducing children to the cinema, with screenings at €4.
Mon Premier Festival, the must-attend event for young audiences in Paris, returns from October 23 to 29, 2024 for its 20th edition. Organized by the Enfances au cinéma association, the event features over 300 screenings and activities in 12 arthouse cinemas, as well as at the Forum des images and the Gaîté lyrique. True to its commitment to eco-responsibility, the festival focuses on reducing carbon emissions and sustainable waste management.
This anniversary edition will welcome as guests of honor Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli, renowned for their animated films such as Une vie de chat and Phantom Boy. The festival pays tribute to their careers by presenting their feature films, as well as iconic works such as La Prophétie des grenouilles (The Frog Prophecy). This year's patron, whose name will be announced shortly, will also select her three favorite films.
Audiences will be able to discover a rich program of cult films such as La Boum and Toy Story, as well as a new themed selection, "Dans la nature", to raise awareness of environmental protection among young and old alike. There will also be film-concerts, creative workshops and screenings adapted for children with disabilities.
This festival is aimed at families wishing to offer their children a first cinematic experience, while sharing convivial and educational moments. Screenings are open to children aged 2 and over, but those who prefer to avoid the crowds should opt for quieter times.
