Every year on July 14th, the skies over France light up, and explosions of color and music delight the French as they celebrate the country's national holiday. And sometimes, the festivities are extended: some communes organize their festivities on July 13, so that citizens can enjoy this great popular gathering even more.
Such is the case of the town ofIssy-les-Moulineaux, located in the inner suburbs of Paris, in the Hauts-de-Seine department. The commune invites us to its exceptional evening, Saturday July 13, 2024. The national holiday will be celebrated a little early in the Parc Départemental de l'Île Saint-Germain, where young and old alike are expected in the early evening.
It's even advisable to come well before this time: take advantage of the festivities to discover and visit the town, which is home to a number of places of interest. Don't miss the playful Musée français de la Carte à Jouer, the Château d'Issy, the various listed churches, the Villa Jassédé... Easily accessible by public transport from Paris, Issy-les-Moulineaux offers a lovely way to discover the region's heritage.
