Artisan chocolatier Vincent Guerlais hosted a tasting of his new sweet creations for Christmas in a beautiful salon nestled in theHôtel Castille in Paris.
This year, the talented artisan chocolatier has come up with 5 colorful and delicious Yule logs in a variety of flavors that are sure to tempt your taste buds at the end of the meal.
First and foremost is our favorite, the Bûche Catania, which conceals a light, gourmet Bronte pistachio mousse cream and a vanilla ganache perfectly blended with pan-fried Morello cherries and Muscavado sugar from Mauritius.
Cocoa addicts won't be able to resist the chocolatier's signature Bûche Absolu. With its dark chocolate cream and dark chocolate ganache with succulent salted butter caramel, your taste buds will be begging for more!
For fruit lovers, opt for the Bûche Héritage, with its smooth raspberry cream, creamy chocolate from Madagascar, raspberry confit with Sancho berries and cocoa bean crunch.
For lovers of tangy flavors, succumb to the Bûche Inzecca with its Menton lemon zest mousse, Gianduja cream, Menton lemon confit and lime madeleine cookie.
The only fly in the ointment is that there are as yet no Vincent Guerlais boutiques in Paris... So you'll have to be in Nantes for the festive season... But we're sure that even the most demanding gourmets will be ready to travel miles to savour one of Vincent Guerlais's signature logs!
