Christmas 2024 in Paris: a sky of luminous mistletoe bouquets and festive entertainment at Bercy Village

Christmas takes hold in Paris, and the joy of the festive season pervades the capital's inhabitants. In this festive season, the City of Light has never lived up to its name. As shop windows come alive, the streets are lit up one by one to reveal fabulous decorations to be discovered as you stroll along. And Bercy Village will be taking part in the festivities, with its famous open-air walkway decked out in luminous mistletoe bouquets for the occasion!

This open-air shopping center awaits families from November 21, 2024 to January 6, 2025 to unveil its illuminations. With the magic of the festive season upon us, the Christmas decorations come down over our heads, for an enchanted stroll based on the theme "Kiss in Bercy", echoing the tradition of kissing under a bouquet of mistletoe.

And let's not forget Santa Claus himself, who will be leaving Lapland for a few days on Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 21 from 2:30pm to 6pm, to share special moments with children by performing magic tricks. As an added bonus, on Sunday December 15, the public will be able to watch a Christmas sleigh ride, with 30-minute passages at 2:30, 4 and 5:30 pm. Last but not least, three more shows await us from December 7, 2024.

The full program of walks and shows

1. Saturday, December 7- The majestic birds: Stilt walkers in enchanting costumes meet visitors. 3 30-minute strolls at 2:30 pm / 4 pm / 5:30 pm

2. Sunday, December 8- The Swan Ballet: Dancer and Nutcracker for a magical ballet. As night falls, the characters light up for the pleasure of young and old dreamers alike. Strolling - 4 passages of 30 min at 1 pm / 2.30 pm / 4 pm / 5.30 pm

3. Saturday, December 14 and 21 - Magic Santa: Santa strolls around with surprises for children.Strolling from 2:30pm to 6pm

4. Sunday, December 15 -Santa's Sleigh: Sound parade with Santa's sleigh and two Elves.Ambulation - 3 passages of 30 min at 2:30 pm / 4 pm / 5:30 pm

5. Sunday, December 22 -Classical ballet: Four classical dancers twirl through the aisles for a moment of grace.Strolling - 5 passages of 15 min between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm

And what about energy efficiency? Bercy Village specifies that the alley will once again be illuminated by LED lights, which consume less energy.
